Does my Powder Blue Tang have ICH? *pics*

It does not "look" like ICH to me yet. It's more chucky and flaps around while he swims.

This is a pic about 1 week ago when he was in perfect health.

Here is a pic I took today.

looks good to me.

What do you mean it looks good?

I am freaking out over here..

I see no visible ich. The marks look to maybe some scrapes? Has he been brushing himself against rock? The brushing against rock is sometimes an early warning of ich. The ich could also be starting in his gills where you would not see it.

Hopefully its not the start of HLLE.

The tang looks great. Keep it well fed and should never have to deal with ICH.

Well I am pleasently surprised then.

There are loads of places he could have scraped himself so that's probably what happened.

His belly is always bulging and he eats like a pig.

That's a good sign that he's eating like a pig! Beautiful specimen, I wish you luck!

I tried to keep one in the past but my LFS didn't tell me that he kept his fish tanks in hypo before I did a 2 hour drip acclimation and lost him anyways due to shock (usually needs a few days to acclimate)! Dang LFS!
