Does this Maxima worth $600?

Please help me to rate this clam http://ultimatefrags.com/coralinfo.php?ID=452#coral, I found this from ultimatefrags and Romel is asking $599 for it. do yo think this pattern is worth this much money. It's about 6" big.

no way, and if you have a look at all the other clams that are posted there most of them look to have PM. you can not be sure that is a healthy clam that's why i say no way to 600 bucks. but that's just me.

Personally, I haven't seen its equal (teardrop-wise). $600 is a lot, though.

There are definately some health questions going on with many of the clams on that site. That being said, those are some of the nicest patterns on any online vendor site.

If it's 6" i'd pay no more than 150.

Well, I've bought from him several times and he's got nice stuff... but I'm not willing to pay that much for ANY coral. His prices can be a bit high. That's way I always go for free shipping after 'x' amount. Makes me feel like I'm getting more. But these days prices are sky high. Look how much anything labeled 'watermelon' is going for. But even people like me are starting a savings account just for corals.

After reading the two threads on this clam, I had to go see it for myself.

Even with just the light from the garage being open, the colors are very apparent. I learned that the pic was taken under 400W XM 20K on an HQI ballast (no actinics).

Are you planning on reselling it? If not, who cares what it is worth. Are you willing to spend 600 on a clam? I can't spend that much on any coral or clam. When I see other's tanks, I don't see a clam or a coral and say wow that must be expensive. To me this is as bad as the OPE's Ultimate frags seems to be overpriced on most of their stuff.
