Among other menerals. Composition of White Dolomite , CA, Mag, Sr, carbonate. Awesome ingredient in every SPS tanks. Nuts like me always find easy't way to run a tank not the other way around.:D PEACE

well menard glad to help you out you have always been great when ive been at your place now you just need a place to store a ton lol

Fellow hobbyist, I'm going to pick up dolomite this mon.I'm crossing my fingers hoping this the right one,I would know when I get there. So, If you ever need some you know where to find me. I had exellent growth 3 yrs ago when I used this stuff, until I ran out. I still have good growth, not as rapid like before. I'm gonna use this primary to my prop. tanks see how long would it takes to grow 1" frag. to a tiny colony. Let me know if you ever need some I'll be glad to give it to you. I think my pick up would handle 500 lbs.:p PEACE

menard... you know i am in... let me know... by the way what ratio are you planning on using this stuff.

I got you man!! Ratio, in the past 1/4 dolomite, 3/4 aragonite, I like to throw a little pieces of oyster shells in the mix. PEACE

Well, I went to Fox River Stone and picked up some Dolomite. I went with the smaller granules looks kinda like aragonite A.R.M. once I rinsed off all the sand. I will be putting it in my reactor this week and will post results in a week or when if noticable difference has taken place. Menard went with the bigger rocks for longer usage. I woudl have but my Ca Reactor is a Knop C which is Kinda skinny, so I went with the smaller stuff. Menard, glad you found what we were all looking for :)

Oh by the way the people at Fox River Stone got a kick when I told them I only needed 2 Jewel Bags of the stuff..

Back from Fox River Stone. Well, like I said they have all sorts of sizes from fine sand to 1" stone, well some are biger. I went w/ 1" stone, bone white to grey't white rich in Mag. I have a big reactor so I went w/ this route. The 1" are a little pricey I spend $60 bucks for it this will last me a life time until I become senior citizen.:D . I have a lot to spare, If you need some PM me..................Johj, thanks buddy! PEACE

Garrick,,,,,,,, dont wait put that stuff in the reactor now. Rinse it good!........ You'll see what im talking about.;) PEACE
