Hey Rena, U remember the rock I bought from U with the shell on it? Well it now has a new home. Sent about 25 LBS of rock and it went along. Thought U might like to know, U said U always liked that one.
I remember that rock, that rock was to cool. Brooke will get suck a kick out of it. If her dad can get the powerhead sitting just right, It will be so cool.

Please elaborate.

Brooke does love that rock. She noticed the shell right away. Thanks Island Hopper. Your LR made a big difference. Also thank you to Sponge Bobby for supplying the salt water.

Brooke is feeling good and her white blood cell count is high. Which means she is over her virus and her immune system is working better.
She has been very patient waiting for this to come together. She is so looking forward to Saturday! When she first asked for a tank she only wanted clown fish. Now she enjoys looking at pics of corals and other inverts and tells me which ones she wants.
Yeah, we will be at GWA around 1:00.

Please elaborate.

That clam shell had the top on it. and if the power head was sitting just right, the clam would open and close. It looked like the cheesy tank decorations you find at petsmart, But this was a real clam on a real rock. But if it has broken off I would understand, it was very delicate. If not, you are in for a treat, the powerhead will catch it every few minuts or so and open it up and then it will close.

Just a reminder, tomorrow, Saturday we will be meeting up at Gateway around 1. If you still have something you want to bring for Brook's tank or you just want to meet with Brooke and her father, It will be a great time.

I WISH I COULD COME I HAVE TO WORK TILL NOON AND IT IS A TWO HOUR DRIVE DOWN. I HOPE SHE GETS SOME GOOD STUFF

I think she was a little overwhelmed but VERY happy. She's naming her two clowns Nemo and Marlin.

This was an awesome thing you guys did.

it is so cool the way children love fish. I have a 1 1/2 year old that stands at the basement door saying "ish ish" because she wants me to take her to see her fish. I also fixed a 12 gallon nano cube for my wife's classroom and the third graders just love it

I am glad Brooke got to come and get her fish I am sure she is a happy girl right now. everyone who has participated in this should give themselves a pat on the back. just a little help from a lot of people makes a big difference in a very special girls life.

We got together at the store, Brooke and her sister are beautiful little girls. And yes, there were alot of people there. I think Brooke was very over whelmed. But she should be home tonight enjoying her nemo's.
I just wanted to THANK everyone. So many people came together for this. It is truely amazing seeing the outpouring of Love, and it wasn't just a "CLUB" thing, or even a "city" thing, We had people from all over the country help bring this little girls wish to Life.
I know we all joke around about this "addition", but we all know how our tanks impact our lives. How truely benifical our tanks are. I think it was for this reason, we all as a reefing community came together from all across the country to help this little girl and her family enjoy the great healing powers we know our tanks give us. Thank you everyone. We can all rest asured that a wonderful little girl will be wanting to sleep in front of her tank tonight.
We are a truely great community. We prove it time and again.
Once again thanks to all, Damn we are speacial. (can I say that)

Amen to that. I am sorry I wasn't able to be there but I had my son in Columbia today and I couldn't miss that.

Brian,

How are the little fishies doing? What all did you guys take home from GWA Saturday?

I hope Brooke enjoys her tank.

Howard

Brooke was both, overwhelmed and very happy. She is very very shy. Normally in this type of situation we would have had to drag her in, but she knew exactly what she wanted and made a b-line for the door as soon as we stopped at GWA. I haven't seen her this excited in a long time.

Nemo and Marlin seem happy. The whole family has enjoyed watching them.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Thank you so much to all of you. You have made a big difference in Brooke's life at a very difficult time. It has been and will be someting positive and fun for her as well as the whole family to focus on and enjoy. A welcomed change of pace from a lot of needle sticks, chemo, nausea, hair loss, depression, ect... Again thank you so much!

Now, who's gonna tell me how to run this thing? Lol. I think I will do alright with a little advice. Be prepared for a lot of new threads. I will post picks soon.

Brian,
What all did you guys take home from GWA Saturday?

Howard

WE got assorted snails, two skunk cleaner shrimps, and a frog spawn with the gift cards. We also received a nice kenya tree from kmf507. Thank you. And also thank you Howard for the two very cool rocks with GSP and zoos. Sponge Bobby gave me a few frags that we really enjoy. We also got a cap frag from Dr. BDC. Thank you Sponge Bobby and Dr. BDC. Brad (Hounddog01) from BNARC and his family came and gave us a gift certificate to Cracker Barrell (my kids favorite) and a very generous visa gift card from BNARC. Thank you to all who donated to this from BNARC.

I am so sorry if I left someone out, I know I did. I have a terrible memory when it comes to names. Just ask Steve and Jack... or was that Jack and Steve?
