Donations for Brooke's Nemo Tank

Letmegrow, see typical NY mentality. I was thinking we were all on NY time.
The check and GFI is in the mail.

I have a few pieces of Rock ( not LR anymore as of last weekend it's been out of water) and a 7 gallon bucket of sand I can let go of some of that ( not all ). I also have that Hairy mushroom rock from Lonnie, I can break it again and donate 1/2 of this. I will also give away for Free one of my testing sets. This is the Hagen-17860 Master Test Kit ( testing 10 diffrent parma ) I used it once to test my Calcium and my son lost the Pipetts and Calcium test book. However you don't need the book as the chart is still with it. This comes in a big thick blue case very easy for storing.

As you all know I'm hard to get a hold of, If you want these Items please inform Lonnie if I do not responed in time to this thread. He'll let me know.
Thanks,
Stupid.

I agree that they should come down to GW and pick up the inverts and such. I think they'd be well taken care of buy the staff, and then we could all get the chance to meet little Brook too. Maybe we could make it like a meetting sort-of. If a date was set we could all help her pick out the good fun stuff, like crabs, Brittle Stars, snails and so forth.

It would be nice to meet the family if they come in to town. I have some LR, sand, a power head, and some frags for them. Please let me know when to bring it up to GWA. Calling me is the best way but I will keep a look out.

I have a piece of kenya tree I would donate, if desired (I know some people do not prefer them since they grow so fast). I was also thinking maybe a gift card or $ towards a purchase at GWA? Is there a way to set up a small "house" account that we can donate to. or maybe buy a gift card and leave it at GWA?

I've also got some LR rubble.

Brooke and the rest of the family would love to go up to GWA. We love checking out marine fish and reef tanks. We recently moved here from San Diego, CA where I had several all fish tanks. We would often browse fish stores for kicks on the weekends. We haven't done that in a long time, so we'd love to come see the store and especially meet as many of you nice people as could make it.

Does it make sense to have the tank set up this Sat. with equipment water and maybe LR, and if all goes well we could go to GWA the following Sat. and pick up any corals, inverts, anf fish as well as meeting everyone? Sirreal63 (Jack), we are flexible. You are doing an awesome job coordinating this, so what ever you think would be the best plan.

kmf507, I saw your thread on the kenya tree. I had no idea what it was so I searched the internet. I thought it looked cool. I was wondering if we could get one. Fast growing sounds good to us at this level of experience. Thank you so much for the offer. What do you think jack, would this be a good addition for the Nemo tank?

I can and will be wherever is needed. (I have no life) I would wait a few weeks on adding livestock so the tank can go through it's mini cycle.

I plan on bringing Brooke and the rest of the family into GWA on Saturday February 3 at around 1:00. If someone who has been involved in this project wants to come but has a schedule conflict with this time, let me know. We are very flexible as we have nothing else planned on that day.

Thanks again everyone. SLASH rocks!!!

Why am I the last to see this thread? I live on the forums, and always miss the good stuff...

Of course, you are getting Nemos from me! I insist!

Your friendly local clownfish breeder,

If you do not have sand, I will donate a 50lb tub of E.S.V. oolitic sand.
