Dont know what to do next

So my tank has been up and running for about 2 years now. I have a CPR bakpak and looking to upgrade my system. What I am trying to figure out is if I want to install an overflow box to build a sump or get an AquaC remora s or remora pro skimmer. I am doing weekly to bi-weekly water changes and I know a sump will help cut that down but the new skimmer will be about half the cost of building my own sump. I do have a bit of an issue with bubble algae but making progress over the past two weeks with it. My nitrates are a little high about 15-20. They have been sitting there for almost a year. Corals are all growing like crazy, my tank overall seems to be healthy and stable.

Just want to get the opinions of you all before I do anything.

Thanks

A sump has nothing to do with water changes, it just increases volume in the system.
I would get the right skimmer first. What is the tank size?

60g. The skimmer is a HOB. If I get that I will have to get another when I do build the sump, right? I thought you were able to control the parameters easier with a sump and able to go 3-4 weeks on water changes.

Parameters will be stable better with larger volume but generally we mean between say 100-200 gallons. 60-80 perhaps not so much. I would get the Aquamaxx as suggested in the other thread. A smallish skimmer will still work for you.

Gotcha. Thanks.
