I was hunting for the mother of all aiptasia when my foxface decided to leap from the tank. Instinctively I tried to grab him. I didnt know which fish jumped. I grabbed him closed my hand and then threw him back to the ground after he stabbed me a bit. Suppose I should keep an eye on my hand. He looks terrible. swimming around fine, he's just covered in what looks like dust.

You'll be fine, so will the foxface. Our fairy wrasse jumps several months ago, and happened to club me in the eye. That was interesting, but after several days of looking really confused and drunk, he was just fine.

Hopin so! I am sure I am fine. Dont want to lose the FF. He was my first real Marine fish. Kinda sentimental, ya know.

If your hand was not in burning pain when you were typing that up, likely you did not get envenomed. Count yourself lucky on that.

Yes, you would be complaining of throbbing pain in your arm. I was going to say something about that and tell you to be careful next time but looks like someone beat me to it. They are venomous, just like Lionfish, only not as potent from what I was told.
