DOS water change setup question

I am setting up my automatic water change and I'm trying to decide how to connect the tubing to the new saltwater container. I have a norwesco plastic 50 gallon cylinder. I'm debating between being the tubing in through a hole in the top and somehow securing it to the bottom (I'm worried about the flow from the mixing pump dislodging it unless I come up with a strong mount) or drilling a hole towards the bottom of the container and glueing in a Johnny guest fitting.

I'm curious what others have done to connect tubing to their saltwater storage. Especially if your using the dos sized tubing.

I purchased a mini bulkhead for both my saltwater and my RODI tank. It accepts the 1/4 RODI tube in the top and inside the container I order 1/4" ridged clear 4' sticks that I connect to it inside the tank. This has worked very well and it makes for a clean install. Let me know if you need more details and I can probably snap a few pics and even provide you with exact details on the parts.

Here I went ahead and snapped a couple pics for you.

Thanks reel red. Where did you order the straight tubing in a four foot length?

The dos will be handling the height either way.

No problem let me know if I can help out any further. I have had mine like this a while and has worked out well. Since my tanks are not that tall I alos use the short pieces I cut off of the hardline for inside my sump to remove the OSW and to replace with NSW it keeps everything nice and neat.
