Dosing pump display issue . (Dead pixels can't read)

Hi:

Today maintenance day! while checking all my system I notice the lcd screen is failing, few lines of the display are not working fine so it is very difficult to read what are you doing. ( very difficult to change dosing program )

Any way to fix it?

I got it from Aquacave.

( used: 1 year and 2 month , tank age)

Talk to the shop from where you got it from.
They are very well supported and I expect that you should get it repaired at no or minimal cost, even though it is out of warranty.
If your supplier does not want to talk, then ask about this on the GHL web site.
 
My buddy emailed ghl directly and got a brand new replacement screen for $85
Sadly the lcd failing is a common issue on these dosers.

However the repair was easy from what he told me
 
if it is in the warranty period (receipt date for this buy not older than 2 years) the replacement/repair is for free

please contact GHL or your retailer or the distributor in your country
 
Hi Matthias. My Profilux II screen has a lot of dead pixels now. Can the screen be changed?
 
Thanks guys, here is an update, finally I can't read the display, almost every single pixel it is gone. So I cant change my dosing set up.

I am out of date to get a replacement under warranty. I got it on apr 12 but this as been running for one year and a half. (Bad for me)

So how can I get a new one.? Will this fail again?

I am asking because if this is an issue not solved the replacement screen could fail again. Whe know this is not and isolated case.

So under 2 years gets you a repair.

Go see your local dealer and if they won't play the game send a PM to Michael or Matthias.
 
Well I am yet another casualty to the LCD screen failing. The digital display is failing for me and I can no longer program my doser. Extremely discouraging after forking out $400 for this doser.

Tanner have you contacted your dealer where you bought it from? Usually the dealer can help you out and at least get you to the next level of support if that needs to be the case.
 
My friend has fauna marin doser, while i have ghl ( they are same ) and both of them are with faulty LCD. Those LCD's are crap.
