Dosing pump

Hi I've been looking to get an aqua medic dosing pump. I had planned to link it up to bottles of brightwell kh and calc. However a friend said that I have to buy proper dosing products for the dosing pumps because brightwell products need stirring.

Anyway my question is can I use brightwell products or what do people reccomend using?

Go to bulk reef supply and save a bunch of cash. They have what you need as far as 2part.

Forget Brightwell. You need calcium chloride, which you can get from the hardware store as de-icer or if you want to ensure the purity buy from BRS.

You need some good old Arm & Hammer baking soda from the grocery store (or any other brand) for your alk part.

I really never understood how folks like Brightwells get away with selling you stuff you already have in your kitchen for 10 X the cost.
