Getting ready for the big tank move this coming Saturday. So I am getting the CL materials together. Intake strainer 1.5" and 3/4" flow accelerators.

I just bought those same accelerators. My 280DD doesn't come until Wednesday...so I hope they work as well as advertised.

I love how the sticker looks like a manufacture badge for the rock wall.

kind of like a stamp of approval.

cool.

Until you mentioned that I hadn't noticed. Does look cool.
Here are the pumps that will be inserted in the rock wall. Tunze 6105 3400 gph each.

What made you go with this skimmer? What skimmers did you consider?

I have heard good reviews on this skimmer and know others that run it on large systems. I have not purchased this one yet so I have not made my mind up definant as of yet. I do have a Orca 250 I may possibly run on the new tank. But the Baldor motor is a bit noisy. I may change it out for the Dart Gold. I am aiming for a smaller physical size but still the large capacity.

MOVING DAY!! OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW!!! And now the real work begins. I want to thank everyone that dropped by to help. It is a relieve to finally have this tank indoors.

Ya the tank is heavy and that is why I needed at least 6 of us for the lift. Thanks for your help.
And I am glad you and everyone enjoyed my ribs and brisket. Sorry you are ruined from Rib Crib. So I guess you will be dropping by more often for my Bar-b-q. You know the secret is in the marinating and how it is cooked. I couldn't let that secret slip out to Rib Crib.
