Anyone have these in they're reef tank? If so do you feed special diet or just let them pick in the rocks? I bought a mated pair and I can't quit staring at them and watching them pick in the reef lol. My wife thinks I'm weird.

I have kept them for many years. The pair I have now have been with me about 2 years. They just pick off the rock work. I have a huge pod population that keeps the pipes and my mandarins very happy.

Thanks for the reply. My pod population is still a little low, I added a bottle of tigger pods Friday night, hope they take off and grow. Hopping to get a mandarin goby and a scotter blenny next.

Here is a video of mine, I hatch baby brine every day but they pick from the rocks as my bluestripes do.

I have a pair for about a year, over the last 6 month period , they have started to feed on frozen cyclopeeze and Nutramar which is prawn roe along with whatever they pick on in the tank.
