What are your "perfect" tank dimensions? I loooove shallow and long tanks and my dream is to one day have a 120x24x16, which works out to be an even 200 gallons.

Hey kat... how about some ground rules. It has to fit in your house and you still have to take care of it :)

Hey Kat where did you get that pic from? Looks amazing, some sort of hotel?

My dream size would probably be 120x40x30 which turns out to be about 620 gallons. I would need a bigger house for that one!

I like LONG tanks. 10'x24"x24". Go big or go home baby! Its around 300 gallons. Large basment sump and frag tanks. Def do a surge tank and fuge.

Well considering what I've seen in homes and the fact that I am getting more and more frustrated with the lack of front-to-back in my 55, I'd be happy with a 120 right now. Eventually however I'd love to have a 180/225 tank. I think it is one of the nicest "reasonable" in-home tank size I've seen.
Was it GaryM? Someone out in the Rochester direction had a 220 or 225 setup as a divider in their kitchen/living room with a central drain to a sump system setup in the basement. The rockwork was really nicely done as well. It was a beautiful tank, unfortunately he had to break it down because he was moving. I came out with the current owner of the tank to see it before it was broke down.
....although, I absolutely LOVE the 1st picture that Kat posted....THAT IS AMAZING!

4'x4'x2' I love the look of a nice rimless cube! Kat I saw some of your art at caribbean forrest last weekend. Very nice!

+1... something like that would be amazing. i always loved the cube, maybe with a center overflow? the 150 cube is similar but bigger would be awesome. i would also love to see a giant custom bowfront.
