I'm leaving in Ukraine and in our aqua shops we have exactly that big corals.
I'm living in Ukraine and in our aqua shops we have that big corals.(nearly 5-6 cm). Only 30% in my tank was that corals when I bought them. Rest of them was bought like frags.
But I know from experience that frags are adapting faster and growing better; unlike the big corals.

I could look at your tank and photography all day long, absolutely beautiful.
Could you give us a little more info on your water params, alk, ca, mag etc etc. And maybe a little info on your maintenance, coral additives, photon period. This tank is deffinately one to emulate.

every two weeks we change 10% of water

At the sump:

Calcium reactor. DIY

Skimmer. DIY.

On the return pipe installed a filter bag (I wash it every two days)

Also, I use charcoal K3 or Deltek and seachem purigen

Salt - Tropic Marin pro reef.

Starting an aquarium held on the system: 14 day cycle by Korallenzucht

And further to use supplements KZ.

skimmer and calcium reactor was made by russian handyman. We have a lot of talanted people in Ukraine and Russia.:mtool:
