Well after a few weekends at my fathers house my new custom made 125 gallon tank stand is almost complete. Since i already have to drain the tank, remove all the rock and catch the all the fish in order to put it on the new stand i decided that i would finally drill it.
I will be using two 1.25" bulkheads. Where do you recommend drilling? I was thinking the back so that way i would have the whole tank floor for aquascaping and you wont see any unsightly tubing unless you look up.
Now for the sump. I will be using a standard 55 gallon tank. How many chambers should i make and how high should i make the baffling and water level.
I would like to have enough room for my skimmer, a DSB, maybe a chaeto area and then the return. How would you set it up?
The tank stand is going to be awesome. Its tall enough to fit the 55 gallon tank, there is 2 drawers, and a side door for removal of the 55 gallon sump. I will be posting pictures soon.
