Drilling a 15 gallon column

Hi All

I am toying with the idea of creating a display refugium to go on the window sill next to my 60 cube. Due to space/ spare tank limitations, an old 15 gallon column is a likely candidate. I can't seem to find any info on it's glass thickness for drilling purposes though. Anyone have any insight?

The thickness doesn't really matter; the panes shouldn't be any thinner than a standard 10G or 20G. It's more important to find out if any of the panels are tempered or not. "Usually" on smaller tanks only the bottom pane is tempered if at all.
