drop osmolator transformer in sump

had it unplugged doing a water change and it slipped out of my hand and fell right into the sump. I tried drying it with a hair dryer and shaking it the best I could to get the water out, but when I plug it in, its no longer working. Should I give it a few hours to dry and see if it works or is their a fuse or something in the transformer itself that could have popped? I see the screw hole on the bottom but it isnt a flathead and doesnt look to be a philips.

any ideas?

I got that screw out, made a notch in a flathead to do so, and dried the chip and everything inside the power supply real good, put it back together and its still not working so I guess I fried something. I checked the parts catalog for a replacement and they arent listed, I believe the part # is 5012 something.

Whenever you read this Roger let me know so I can go ahead and order one and pay for 2 day shipping as well so I can can get it up and going ASAP.

Thanks

Mark

You could call to order one, I couldn't ship it until tomorrow. 512-833-7546. The power supply is a standard size you can buy at Radio Shack, it may look different but it will work. You need a 1000mA, 9V, 2.5mm, tip positive transformer.
