I have been in this hobby for more then 9 years but didn't really post much about my tank.

Yesterday I had some extra time and decided to make a little feeding video. Enjoy

Few pictures I took recently. Sorry still learning how to take a decent pic with my phone...

I am preparing to move and dont have much time to clean the tank. Left tank alone for 4 days. This is what I came home to:

and after short glass scrub back to being pretty again.

I will be moving my reef to new home on Monday the 15th. Hired Triton marine to help me move it. Hopefully they know what are they doing because my fish are my babies :)

I am preparing a temporary room for that tank in the previous owners wood workshop 1200 sq/f with heating floors, we will use it as an entertaining room. I have painted it and today or tomorrow the floors will be installed too. this weekend will have to start working on filtration and plumbing. So much still to do and time is running short....

<a href="http://imgbox.com/vjnYKcIc" target="_blank"><img src="https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/ac/a3/vjnYKcIc_t.jpg" alt="image host"/></a>

I think tank and filtration will go temporarily to the left side for now. My plan is to purchase a new larger tank for the living room upstairs and run filtration down to this room (right side corner)

Few days later update.

Room has been finished just before the move.

Love the look, and so much space!

Monday was a big day. I was extremely stressed not only about the tank move but also Mather nature wasn't cooperating and it was only 40 degrees outside.

Guys from Triton Marine showed up with buckets and we got to work!

30 minutes later the tank was empty

30 min drive and everything was delivered to new home

Again, big thank you to Triton Marine for their help and dedication. They broke down old set up, transported it, setup the tank, install new plumbing, an aquascape and corals. All in 5 hours! Amazing.

I have still tons of work, set up apex, reactors, water change station the list is long. Also this tank will be there only temporary, at some point I will get a new one and set it up in my living room. Stay tuned......

It has been awhile since I updated. I have been very busy with new house.
Tank is doing great, actually I am surprised how well its going. I lost few small fish after the move but that's to be expected.

I was little worried because I switched from city water to private well.
My new water is very high in iron so I have installed a whole house heavy metal filtration system with KDF media and off course my reverse osmosis filter just for the fish.
Happy to report that my well water has 0 tds after I replaced all the media.

I also love my new fish room :)

Thank you Nathan,
I am considering getting a new tank for the living room upstairs, the current "fish room" will still be holding all the filtration etc. The reef adventure never stops :)

Do it! Do it now!!

haha in the spring, I need to build my filtration first, run plumbing upstairs and still have to find a tank.

I have a perfect spot for it in my living room I am thinking 150-160 gallons 5 feet by 2. Thinking about planet aquarium tank:

Triton Marine can order it for me and deliver to my house so that's a plus. Only thing is I saw one of their tanks in the store and the silicone was kind of sloppy.

I have had this Trachyphyllia for over 11 years. It was one of my first corals I have purchased. Over the years I have noticed a separation and now it has a separate head.

Right now that Trachyphyllia is size of a dinner plate.
