I've dealt with similar issues, including chasing bad reagent. I will say it takes a solid 2-3 months to see significant improvement. I know how desperate it can feel when your 2-3 weeks into the "correction" and you see no improvement and or things are actually worse. What I've learned is that there is nothing you can do more than what you know you should do and pray they recover. SPS can be very finicky, but at the same time some are pretty resilient and can bounce back given enough time.....
