Dear Chingchai,

Thanks for the updates no matter however small we all love to hear from you.
Your dedication is one the biggest influences on me.
Happy Reefing!!

Lawrence. You are always optimistic.
Thank you.

Sir
We are all have our ups and downs
After killing countless fish fish last year I want to give up reef and just do FOLWR
But told me to try again never give up.
I am currently unemployed after spending my last 8 years on a children hospital that I give my heart and soul plus more.give up higher pay, better benefits and just let go few months after stepping down as the Respiratory Director because of retaliation. I have no regrets because I give it my all and seing all of the children come home and thrive after a very very rough start ever since they open their eyes for the first time they have tubes in their throat and holes everywhere but they still have the biggest smile in their faces.

My tank will never look like yours but it put a smile on my face after spending few minutes taking pictures and chatting with local or reefers from other places.

Good luck and we are all hoping the you will get your passion back.

Sorry to ask this as there are way too many pages to search through. Are you still using your original lighting setup of 400 watt metal halides? Im in the process of building a 42" deep tank and want to make sure I have enough light for clams on the bottom. What bulbs are you using and are there any additional lights? The tank is still amazing.

My prayers are going out that your passion and the rewarding feeling come back quickly for you. You have done an unthinkable amount of work with an amazing amount of success I hope the small set backs are not the reason. In comparison you have won the war despite losing some small battles! Much respect to you and your helpers.

Im pretty sure his set up is:

8 400W MH, 4 140W VHO, and 6 110W VHO. There are also LED moonlights.

Hello Ching,
Your tank is absolutely magnificent however I have a question.
How can you maintain the health of the beautiful achilles tang because by powder blues and achilles will turn thin after a few months and die. I tried keeping them in LPS and FOWLR tanks but the fish died eventually. The powder blue in my FOWLR is one I kept the longest(half a year) and it's still skinny. Please tell me what and how you feed the tangs. Thanks.

BANDIT ANGEL. Thank you.
I don't have any special treatment to my fishes. I just feed them once a day with many kinds of food (flake, pellet, dried shrimp, frozen food etc.).

In your case, maybe you have too many aggressive fishes which make your Powder blue and Achilles tang scare to eat.
