DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Terrible news.
Both Narcosis angelfishes are dead.
Don't really know why.
They eat well, look so active.

I am speechless.

Wow sorry to hear. Sounds like maybe they were not decompressed properly.
They were with Blueharbor more than one month. And the guy who catch them know exactly how to treat them before shipping out.
I really don't know why.
Maybe something's wrong with my tank or just bad luck.

Yeah that's terrible. We all know Blueharbor doesn't mess around.

Ching,

I am so very sorry to hear about the two Narcosis. That is terrible news! It is especially difficult when they both seemed to be doing so well.

Hang in there.

Dan

Guys. Thank you so much.
Today I sent one of them to analyze the cause of death at Marine department.
They said possible case should be stress during transportation and bacteria infection.

Well, it is a big loss and quite shock to me.
However I think I can let it go soon.

They were decompressed properly, assuredly. Rufus knows exactly what he's doing down there, as Chingchai eluded to ...

Now, that doesn't speak to the fact that species from those depths, under significantly different conditions than even the best Reef Aquaraiums in the World can replicate, will not acclimate well to the aforementioned changes in conditions i.e. water pressure/temperature, light energy and the spectrum of said light energy, et al

Chingchai the new setup looks amazing with the new rock, corals and fish! Love the side view here. Adjusted in order to balance the tank and room light. Very nice.

Luis. That is awesome. I really like the way you improve my picture.
Can you teach me how to do this?
Thanks a lot.
