DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Ching,

I am late to posting to this site but have been following this thread for a couple of months now.* All I can say is that this is a truly amazing and inspiring accomplishment.* When I see the updates week after week I am taken aback by the quality and beauty of the next step.* The only thing that tops your efforts is your next move.* The planning was of the highest quality only to be outdone by the process and then the results. I know I am not saying anything more than what has already been said but I felt it necessary to give you another glimpse of what one more onlooker thinks of your efforts and results.. truly spectacular.* It is my opinion that money cannot produce this type of quality, it takes a higher level of desire, imagination and dedication that only a few have.* WOW!* Absolutely stunning.

Hi Henry,

Your words are truly appreciated.
Thank you for your kind comments.
BTW, welcome to Reef Central.

Cheers,

I don't know how long I have to wait for the female.
And both male seems to be getting along well.
So I do make a decision to keep them.

they are very amazing !
now i am thinking of getting one too After I resolve my tank issue
SIR.
Are you running uv sterilizer along with the ozone and last question do you see any wave action on top of your tank using 4 wavebox?

THANK YOU

SIR.
I HOPE IT DOES TOUCH YOUR CLEANER SHRIMP
ALSO ARE YOU RUNNING UV STERILIZER ALONG WITH YOUR OZONE?
THANK YOU

I suggest you to go for it.
You will love this fish.
Yes, I hope they don't eat my shrimp.
But the one we have in our club's tank never bother any shrimp.

I don't have UV sterilizer yet but I am planning to buy one soon. (special order from Royal Exclusiv)

Wow royal exclusive for uv sterilizer ! How many watts?
I know Carl ( reefski) loves his pair but he lose the female not too long ago.
Someone offer me a male a month ago really cheap 200 for 8" male I am hoping it's still available

Hello CC,

your tank is an inspiration!!! I was looking at the pictures in office and my colleagues so the colorful pictures and all came by to gawk at your tank! :) My tank is considered chicken feet vs yours! :) hahahaah.. thank you so much for sharing with the whole world your beautiful "child".

Cheers,
Desi

chingchai, It took me a couple of hours to read thru your thread. A fellow reefer in South Africa referred me to your tank thread as I am building new "pinnacle" type rock structures for my tank. Coincidentally it is about the same appearance as your rock structure. I got fed up with the "fully packed tank" look and am also going the neat open, natural look.

I would like to take the time to congratulate you on an awesome, mouthwatering, jaw dropping system.

Well done, your tank is a real inspiration to me (I suppose to all us reefers out there) and I shall use it as a benchmark for my new Setup

Well, I don't know the exact watts yet.
I just tell them my total tank volume and let them design the proper one.

US$200 for this Crosshatch, it is really like the free one.:bounce2:

Don't say that la. You are too humble.
Our tank must be the best no matter what.
Other tank is just the inspiration.
Anyway, thank you for your kind words.

Hi Sean,

Thank you for your kind comments.
I am so happy that my tank can inspire you.
That is the purpose I keep posting on my thread.
BTW, I do recommend you to check out on this thread:

So far it is gonna be the best build thread. Ever.

Cheers,

I can have better wave if I install them on the left and right side equally.
But for eye pleasure, I decide to put them at the back of my tank.
So the answer is no.

Same here I think my wave box works better if it's on the opposite side of the overflow but it's a eyesore too bulky but I still love the wave action it produce inside the tank

As promised, pictures of my softie tank (as of today).
I can't call it NPS tank anymore because it is already mixed with some photosynthetic soft corals.
