The underwater cam was jaw dropping!! One day I would hope to have something like this. The back patio is being draft up right now to accomodate something of this size. Thanks fpr keeping us inspired chingchai.
Wow....2+ milllions hits. You should put advertisements on this thread and make some money!!!
Best of Luck to you. Unfortunate, you are unlikely to get all of the Majano because they like to hide in the deep cracks in the rock. I broke down my tank to get rid of Majano 5 years ago but they came back again. Did you ever consider using a natural predator like matted filefish to keep them under control? I hear a lot of people have good experience with them and they are much less likely to bother your corals than butterflyfish.
i had the pleasure of meeting Koji at Macna this year...very interesting individual and yes he is the man for rare and unusual fish!
Good luck with the redo of the tank...I can only imagine the frustration!
Ching, is that a "gut feeling" about the state of the mud or based on a shift in parameters in the system. I am guessing there are components which are consumed/depleted through time
I was just wondering what you based changing the mud on. I wonder with all the other changes you are making to the coral structure if leaving the mud alone until sometime after would have been a better option. Not second guessing,
just wondering
