Dual 175w MH ballast ???'s

I bought this and was told it will run 150w bulbs. I hooked it up to my DE 150w pendant, running only 1 bulb and it started up and kept the bulb lit. Now for the question, whilee the bulb was lit it was really bright and it looked like it was "arcing" inside the bulb. Kinda flickering and jumping around is the only way to explain it. I have owned a few different MH setups and have never noticed this before. The ballast is electronic. Will this be ok, or should I only run SE bulbs?

might be overdiving the bulb, as long as you have it hooked up I would just monitor it and see what kind of life you are gettign out of the bulb, what ballast is it?

I have one also and I am using it on DE bulbs with no problems, I got mine from Ebay, Its one of the import ones
