I added an HM Digital DM-1 Dual TDS meter about two months ago when I changed my filters and it reads very high TDS on the output. I'm at work so I working from memory
but input reads approx 65ppm while the output reads 275ppm on the 10X scale (2750ppm). These probes are supposed to be calibrated at the factory but I'm wondering if it's common practice to check that cal during install. I have a Spectrapure CSPDI-60 4 Stage RO/DI with sediment, carbon, color changing DI, and RO membrane. All 4 were replaced when I did the filter change and I'm assuming that all filters are working properly.
I'm going to pick up a probe cal kit so I can confirm the cal. Assuming that's good does anyone have any ideas on why I'm getting such a high reading on the output?
Thanks,
Mike
