emperor 350 is no where near enough filter for a 55g FOWLR let alone a reef tank. Look into a good quality skimmer and maybe a sump, maybe a few reactors for running GFO and carbon
I disagree about it being a Majano. I have majanos in my tank and what you have is not them. You have a small BTA looks to be a RBTA. I do agree how ever that the chances of it living are probably not great due to the age of the tank and the nem going through the tanks cycle process but stranger things have happened so you never now what may happen.
I posted a pic of a cluster of three Majanos in my tank for you to see.
thanks for the ID, I really didnt think it was a majano, looked at pics i gogled, of course i also got pics of nems, that clearly weren't majanos, so i was confused!
I agree with Bradleym that it may not be a RBTA because it is tough to tell in the pics. It has probably lost some or all of its zoox for one reason or another but the stress it has been through hasn't helped it get it back. But Keep watching it and see if it will eat, maybe a small piece of krill who knows what may happen. You may get lucky and end up with a really nice extremely hardy and healthy(if it lasts after going through a tank cycle and through the growth of a young tank) anemone!! best of luck to you
