Dwarf Ceriths.... Always dwarfs?

I was just wondering as I was looking g at my tank... Do dwarf Ceriths stay... Dwarfs or are they just baby Ceriths that get about 2 inches long. You see, I have the Florida Ceriths. Then I have the dwarf ceriths (probably about 60 or so) and I was thinking.... Hmm how big do these little guys get?
 
There are probably several different species that are called "Dwarf Ceriths." A bunch of these only average about an inch long as adults, but there are some species that average less than that, somewhere between half an inch and an inch. The two non-dwarf Florida species grow to about two inches, but won't average nearly that big.
