Dwarf Golden Moray

Any of you fish-o-holics have experience with this moray? I had a snowflake in my reef many years ago, but it got too big (24 inches), too messy and too aggressive. I hear anecdotal reports that the dwarf golden stays much smaller, and to the degree than any moral eel is reef safe, it's reef safe?

Hi mate!
I have a golden dwarf moray at the moment and he is a nice little guy! causes no problems with aggression or trying to attack/eat fishes or shrimps that I have in the tank with him!
Had him around 3-4 months and is around 10 inches. Really nice guy.

Also, depending on your tank size, another great moray that I have also kept (5 years ish) is a zebra moray. Look so cool and mine had a great personality, came up to see me every time I walked past
Never ate any tank mates, except a few shrimp (have heard most are like this) and grew 2.5ft +.
Definitely my favourite fish/eel

I use one of those bulk reef supply 1/4 inch netting screen covers. I wonder if one of these could squeeze through that?

I use to have a dwarf golden moray. She was awesome but I only saw her about once a week. At first she didn't bother anything but after a while she started eating things. Peppermint shrimp, pistol shrimp, clown gobies, a chalk bass, royal gramma, the list goes on and on. I had her for a year and she only got to about 12" long but eventually I wanted to add a few more fish and didn't want the risk of her eating them.

I have one for going on 3 years. She doesn't bother anyone. When I first got her she did eat a fridmani that insisted on sleeping in the same hole as her. The eel did warn her for days by biting the fridmani, then one day the fridmani was gone. Since then she hasn't bothered anyone. I feed her shrimp every 3 days. She is rarely seen until she wants to eat then she keeps her head out for hours until I feed her. I have a 1/4 screen.

I would get a locking lid. I had one in a 12g cube until I got the 125 done. Even though it was shut, my little 9" golden pushed the lip open and got crispy. It was very sad and we haven't thought about eels since.
