Dwarf Seahorse Captive breed sources

Hi I plan on setting up a dwarf seahorse tank but I am looking for a place to get some captive bred ones that are priced closer to the wild caught ones, ie $20 for a pair or trio. I was hoping a hobbyist would have some but none of the auction sights have any listed. I would not be able to get them for another month or so. Probably in September.

Why would you expect someone to sell you captive bred for near the price of wild caught?
They have probably had to pay the going price of captive bred to get their stock so I would think they would probably like to get the same for any they manage to raise also.

Seahorse corral has them for $28 a pair. That's about the cheapest you'll find. I got mine there and I highly recommend them

In the long run, after your 9 week deworming routing on WC, you actually end up spending more on the WC. Buy captive bred. Although they are a little more expensive, in the end, they work out to be cheaper and healthier.
