Are any of these Tank mates suitable? Does anyone have these are there any regrets?

Pros Cons

Pipe Fish
Fancy Sea Cucumber
Serpent Starfish
Red Starfish
Blue Leg Hermit Crabs
Turbo Snails
Gorgonian, Soft Coral

First five would be no nos IMO.
I don't know about turbos as I never keep snails in any of my tanks be they reef or seahorse.
I personally didn't have much luck with gorgonians at the cooler temperature I keep my seahorse tanks at.
Soft corals that don't grow too fast may work if they don't mind the cooler temps.
Keep in mind that having enough light for corals sometimes means you need a chiller to keep the temperature down.

Happy New Year! rayjay Thanks for the great feedback! I will keep that in mind. I am glad I asked. There are alot of people out that will sell anything to make a dollar and they are not well knowledgable.

I have had great luck with the ORA pink gorgonia and birds nests. I also have a scooter blenny in my seahorse tank without any issues, the seahorses can actually out compete him for food floating around in the tank since he hovers vs swimming. He also cleans up food that's settled on the rocks. I have mainly use trochus snails. I keep my tank at 75 degrees.

I have NO IDEA what gsb is. People my age I guess don't use many abbreviations like you young folk do.

Fudz are you using them with Dwarf Seahorses?

No, I don't have dwarves, mine are hippo kuda's. The horses will do more damage to the coral, then they will do to them as long as you don't use LPS with stinging tentacles. The low temp of a SH tank will have more of an effect on your type of corals. I have 2 types of gorgonias, 3 birds nest, 5 zoas, leptastrea, Kenya tree, and 4 macro algae without any problem. As far as tank mates...a scooter blenny, cleaner shrimp, trochus and turbos snails, hermit crabs, an emerald crab, and a yellow headed goby. The goby usually tries to be a bully for food, but after a few pieces of shrimp he hides in his cave. He sifts the sand bed most of the day which helps maintain the tank.

I have kept dwarf seahorses for the past 10 years. I have found that the best set up for them is a small tank 2-5 gallons a sponge filter, I use the Elite. I also use artifical plants as hitches. My cleanup crew consists of nassarius and other small snails.

I agree with Jan B. Dwarf seahorses should almost be definitly kept in a species only tank with no other fish. on the other hand I think snails would be fine but maybe not hermits, cucumbers, and stars might be too big for the size tank required. Gorgonians are fine just be sure they dont out grow the tank but i personally thought that live plants were cool.
good luck!!!!
