Are there any success stories of these guys eating frozen foods? Id love to keep some in a pico im planning but from what I hear and what i've seen around the internet their feeding habits make it way more difficult than its worth. Love some imput!

Haven't heard of any success stories in the last 4 or 5 yrs I've been involved with seahorses, but I've certainly heard of a lot of attempts.
The Dwarves tie you down a lot more than standard size seahorses do.

Agreed. No long-term success stories. Even those that claim success have reported the dwarfs revert back to only live foods in a short time frame.

Could you just keep some decapsulated BS cysts on hand and toss them in the dwarf tank (twice a day) to hatch. This would take little time, like feeding flake. I am considering keeping dawrves myself.

Not a good idea. Hatch some decapped bs cysts in a container and test the water after they hatch. The water is NASTY. That is what you would be doing to your tank.

To overcome the bacterial problems that can come from brine shrimp cyst, you can soak the cysts in a bleach bath made by adding a tablespoon of bleach to a gallon of water, for a time of 30 minutes.
You can also use decapped cysts, also done using bleach but a lot more complicated.
However there are reported problems with empty cysts lodging in the digestive tracts of fish, blocking the digestive sytem.
Still safest to hatch and separate the nauplii to add to the tank.
