Dwayne's SPS Elos Tank from Canada

Very cool on the mandarin, can't get mine to eat mysis but he has started eating frozen bloodworms, finally something to supplement with :-)

wow,beautiful tank.

Thank you !

Congrats on that one, you dont see that often. I'm guessing there isn't too much competition in that tank?

Thanks Mike, I thought it was pretty cool. I thought i was special but apparently lots of people have theirs eating prepared and frozen foods.

Really nice tank.

Thanks

Well that has to be a good start. I worried about mine with 3 wrasses a pipefish and very very little rockwork but the mandarin has to be over a year old, must be getting enough to eat !

Wow that's great that he is doing well with that stocklist, gives me some hope that someday I might be able to add a wrasse to my tank.

Wow, amazing tank! Love the selection of corals. The video shows how much your tank has filled in. Keep the pics coming!!!

Just read through your thread and damn...your tank looks amazing. I just started my tank 2 months ago, and hopefully one day it will look as good as yours.

You're red dragon is insane. That thing has more pink than any one I have ever seen. Beautiful tank

Thanks, it was one of my first LE pieces I ever bought, have grown out then RTN's 2 different times, save a branch and grew it again. It always seems to max out to certain size then dies back, stinking thing

Shortly after this pic it STN and several branches died BUT it stopped and all seems good for now.

Didnt even frag it, just let it decide if it was gonna go or not

Dwayne, your collection is jaw dropping!

It seems to me though that Acros are taking a strange form, corallites seem all smashed up, almost like they will disintegrate if you touch them and the tissue doesn´t seem as smooth as it should, I think. Have you not noticed it?

There are some corals where that structural observation is more obviously than other:

Agreed . I noticed the exact same thing and was wondering the same. Very weird forms?
