Dying frogaspwan and hammers

Hey Guys,

After months of fighting with my tank. I think I might be getting an upper hand, but my hammer and forgspawns are still dying. Everything else looks great except all the euphyllias. My params are withing range.
Nitrates-15-10ppm
Mag-1500ppm
Cal-450ppm
Dkh-7
Phos-.25ppm-0ppm
Ph-8.2
Sal-1.026
temp 79-82

I've checked the corals for pest and can't see any with the naked eye, no brown jelly symptoms. The only thing that I've see that seems a little weird is the stem of sketelton are turning dark green brown (if that means anything). the heads are not turning into jelly they just shriveled and shrink and eventually strip off the skeleton. Any help you guys could give would be well recieved. Thanks for looking.

10-15ppm nitrates is pretty high, are you overfeeding or know the root cause of those? Your alk could be bumped up a bit, my euphyllias love 9-11dkh. Also, how are you testing your salinity, and when is the last time you calibrated it?

Give them some time and they should get better.

Confirm the salinity and also you can go a little higher on your alk. Its better to be at a minimum of 8 so that you can account for some testing error.

I now the trates are a bit high, but been batteling with the issue for a few months. They were as high as in the 60ish range and im still working on it. Ill try raising the dkh.

I don't think the nitrates are all that high. In my tank, nitrates are usually 10 and my hammer, frogspawn and torch are all thriving. My alk also is at 7 so I don't think it's that either.

Try a dip in Coral Rx, there may be something on them that you can't see (what do you have to lose at this point). You also might want to check your iodine levels. Should be at .06, I noticed much improvement when monitoring and maintaining iodine. NEVER add it without testing though.
