Does the Seio have something built it to turn it on it's base?

8-ball you may or may not be aware of it but they do sell a magnetic bracket that using the existing bracket on the Seio, the same bracket also fits the Tunze and the Maxijet lines. Just wanted to pass it along, I bought the smaller one for mine and wish I had bought these. But they work pretty good.

Been busy...thats my excuse.

Added some more fish, bought some pink zoos that all died (thanks usps & a seller that would not use ups -- i should have known better)

Nitroq2, Thanks for the link but yeah I looked those up yesterday. I knew someone made magnet holders. I seen the ones for Tunze a long time ago.. My DIY one's were Alot cheaper though. cost me about 13 bucks to make 3 of them lol. I already had all the parts laying around in the shop anyway. 34.00 isn't a bad price though compared to what Tunze wants for theirs :eek2:

Will,where can you get magnets at?I dont have any laying arround and I've never seen them for sale.how did you countersink the magnets?Did you use 4 pieces of acrylic and drill through one.If so can you just use a paddle bit on acrylic?and what kind of glue?Sorry bout all the ? but im getting a seio Sunday at Nuby's and this gadget looks like a must.

If you mean something like the Powersweep that automatically rotates or turns, I don't think so Harry, at least mine doesn't.

The frags that you see on the bottom are for sale. The ones on the rock are the new stuff that I "planted".

As for the SEIO mount, I believe Wavysea wave maker is working on an adapter to mount SEIO on it. They have already developed a mount for TUNZE. Here is what Wavysea looks like - really pricey, though.

on the subject of the wavysea's check out this thread if you haven't seen it already...I'm thinking of doing the MJ1200 mod on three of my mj's for the 240 I'm setting up & using this idea for rotation!

I have two 1500 Seios with one RC mod I found on here. Basically you just drill through the mount piece with the suction sups and invert the seio. I cut the bottom mounting grill piece off and use it with gutter guard against fish/anemone's getting caught.
