Eating clownfish eggs

So my clownfish have been acting like they want to lay eggs, they have been scouting out a rock and both acting like they are have a seizure on the rock back and forth and then together. However i have not see any eggs, unless they lay them at night and something ate them.

I have a sexy shrimp, a hermit crab and a fire shrimp. Any of these have the potential to eat eggs IF they had been layed?

If they haven't laid before, they may just be revving up to do so. Call it fish practice.

They become extremely defensive of their nest, and would likely fend off shrimps/crabs.. but I guess it is possible for them to be eaten. If there were eggs, you may see some remnants. Like white dots where the eggs were attached.

im not sure on the age, i bought mine about 5 months ago at the LFS. Then i got one that was a little bigger from a tank my mom had bought about 3 months ago. I can post a pic if that would help.
