Anyone have some new pics they can post?

Here is the 250w DE 14k with 96w of t5 actinic supp. Looks great. Needs the actinic though or it becomes a little too yellow for me.

Well I just replaced my 20k plusrites with 14k Phoenix about 3 hours ago. The diff is night & day. The Phoenix just looks so much better. My wife even commented how much prettier the tank looks. I'm not knocking the plusrites my corals did fine with them I guess but the Phoenix just looks so much better. I guess the old saying goes you get what u pay for. With all the money spent on my tank what's a extra 100$ for visual stimulation. I got 3 250w De HQI Phoenix for 150.00 shipped & the color diff is worth it to me.

I have been running the Plus Rite 150w 14k de bulbs since May. I was hoping that they would be a little more on the blue side. My LPS and shrooms love them though. I am going to try out the 20k bulbs this spring. Here are a few phone pics of them on my tank.

I tried the 250w 14K HQI's and it wasnt what I was looking for- I want a bit more blue in my tank. That being said they were bright, and equal to my Current usa 10K's mabey a touch more blue (not by much) they are all re-boxed and I am sending back to swap for 20K's. (I only fired 1 bulb as a test)

In the beginning of this thread I read and bought LSE plusrite 20K 400W on HQI. Very bright but not too blue. After burn-in they are more like 10K color.

I just ordered XM's ($63) on sale. I will post comparisons. Growth with LSE 400W has been slow I believe over last 6 weeks.

I don't know how much blue you are wanting but I just replaced my 20k plusrites with 14k Phoenix & the Phoenix is easily 3 or 4 shades more blue than the 20k plusrites.

Does anyone know what is going on with Light Spectrum Enterprise (trust_deals)? I ordered 3 x 250w 20ks and a UV bulb on 11/19 and have yet to receive anything other than an automated invoice after purchase and no shipping info whatsoever. I have emailed the customer service and called but I can not reach anyone there. Anyone have any info on what their deal is?

I have the same issue, I placed my order on 7 Dec!!!!! I tried to call them but no one ever picksup the dam phone ...left multiple massages/Email. Finally he answered me and send me a tracking number from UPS###### and asked me to be patient it will arrive!!!!! that was two weeks ago,:furious: but the UPS does not track any info once it has been processed.

It almost sounds to me that LSE may drop ship there bulbs & may have a issue with the drp shipment location being out of them.

Maybe they should notify the customers, specially when they have taken $ from my CC on the 7 Dec and I still don't have any light bulbs!

I didnt say thats whats goin on for sure thats just what it sounds like. There are hundreds of customers that have been happy customers so it could just be Holiday shipping errors. Who knows? I hope you get your bulbs soon.

I ordered some Phoenix bulbs from SOS light bulb supply on Friday & had them on Monday.

If anything they have come down.. I can get 3 250k mogual base 20k between $50 and $60 shipped...

wow! That is not a usually trend in bulbs in the hobby. Good to know, maybe they will get even cheaper!
