I have the DC 9000 and it is super quiet. I don't have doors on my stand either. So you should be good I like that little cage for the pump intake mine didn't come with anything that fancy.

Hook your ro unit up to the sink and run your product line to the tank. If you need a line long enough to reach your tank, I have a 25 footer you could use

Even on my worst day I don't think I've had a game that wasn't good
