I have a frag of Cherry Pie Echinophyllia coming and I was curious as to where to place it in my tank. I have a 180 gal tank lit by 4 x 250 mh. There is a lot of flow in the tank Thanks for your help.
echinos are pretty flexable. they can and will do well under a wide range of lighting and flow arrangements. i have the same lighting as you and keep them all over the bottum 2/3 of my tank. some under direct light and some partially shaded and they all do well. i would recommend starting on the bottum to make sure the echino becomes acclimated to your lights. and were ever the echino ends up, make sure you get it there a few inches at a time and very slowly. good luck
