Is it. okay i will start my reading on Zeovit and L.bailing method after my exam.

You're good there. Balling Lite is just another way to dose your Ca/ Mg/ dKH instead of using a Calcium Reactor - nothing to do with Zeovit!!

I used to do balling and I find it excellence as it's so much easier to keep the params inline - no tweaking of Ca Rx, Co2, bubble count, etc

Ed need your advice on controller as youre on 220V too.
seems I won't be able to get the Apex or even the Aquacontroller III due to 220V and need for additional control modules and interfaces for each item it has to control.
so considering IKS and Profilux, can you please share info about your controller:
-did it ship with all the items you mentioned on the beginning ofyour thread or did you get those add on?
-did you need any additions on it for it to control 220V items?
-is it realiable? easy to set?
-does it connect to PC and allow you to get graphs of readings...
-is it able to SMS you or email you in case readings are off certaqin values?
thanks for any info

Note: by replying you agree to helping me set it up step by step if I endup getting a profilux. :D

Hi - for controllers, both IKS and Profilux will works well for you.

IKS has been around for years but IMO did not advance

On the other hand, Profilux is an ongoing innovative controller, advancing with new features every couple of months. You can start off with the basic and just buy add on as you/ your tank progresses. (not to mention it's cheaper too compare to IKS in this part of the world anyway)

Both controllers will be able to do the above you mention and are pretty easy to use IME.

I bought my controller and bene using it for over a year now (since my old tank). Check out the GHL Profilux in the sponsor forum as there's lot's of info there...

I, by no means is an expert on Profilux but will be more than willing to help, in whatever way I can as I know the instructions for Profilux is very confusing but on the other hand they have a dedicated forum for this as well so support/ assistant is not an issue. I've not used the max potential of the controller yet (to be honest) as I'm just too lazy but Profilux can do much more and the options just blows you away

Where're you based?? HK or Singapore??
