The canopy looks good!
It was worth waiting, the final look is really nice.
Great job Ed.
When are you planning to add some fish?

Thanks Felipe

i just saw something interesting...your thread has 50100 views....i wonder what percentage of that i own!

Don't know....how much free time you have at the hospital?? :D

Still hard to beat my old thread (which was rated 5 star) and if I remember correctly had a few splits and over 130,000 views :eek1:

Let's see how far this thread can go.......... :rolleye1:

Well its not so much free time as my job requirements constitute alot of time at a computer. Whether I am at post in the ER or manning the operators desk. Other than that I take two hour long rounds of the hospital each night. So unless i have to control any unfavorable situations im either doing rounds or at a computer. But ill be sure to contribute as much as i can to beating your old thread!

And this is how it looks like when completed

CanopyTop08.jpg

And with the T5 lights on….

CanopyTop06.jpg

CanopyTop07.jpg

From the end of the T5 tubes to the edge of the canopy frame is about 4cm so should be sufficient to block out those glares….

I will still need to make the center top piece to hide the protruding back of the LB reflector…..

Comments guys??

Absolutely beautiful! Perfect example of how amazing a shallow rimless tank can look!

haha seriously. this guy has his system up and running with corals and some CUC in the time i got my stands build and my aquascape done!

GHL Controller:

Meanwhile, I think there is something wrong with my GHL controller?? I’m sending the controller back to my Singapore distributor together with the 2 x Ph probe and my conductivity probe for testing…

I believe it could be the probe issue as I didn’t keep it wet during the few months I was reefless :mad2:

Will keep everyone update once I have some info…
