Editing a thread

Is it possible to edit the for sale thread I have already started, or can I start a new one for livestock and additional equipment that I have for sale?

I think you only have a certain amount of time to edit any given post. but you can always add a reply with any updated information to a current thread you started already.

I think you have about 30 min.
There will be an edit button on the bottom right next to the quote button.
When it's gone, I think you are done editing that post.

Thank you. I may just start a new thread since I'm not sure anyone would reread and I would prefer to sell my livestock up here. I'm guessing I will have to take most of the rest of my stuff to Dallas since no one up here is buying at the moment. I'm hoping it isn't just because I'm not well known.

K,
I can't see this being the case.
You have to admitt, except around meeting time, the forum is pretty slow this summer.

Best of luck with your sale,

Thanks for the responses guys! It makes me feel a little more connected to the outside world when I can elicit responses here on the forum.
Your right Lynn, I was just having a pity me moment! :-D I've been stuck in the house with the kids by myself because of the heat almost all summer and I'm going crazy! LOL
I'll just work on getting everything together and list it all at once. I'll be going down to Dallas to visit family, so I can try listing on DFWMAS too.

just out of curiosity is there a reason for this rule?

We feel that people should take responsibility for what they say. You get 1 hour from the time you post to make edits, beyond that, only the staff here have the ability to edit posts.
