[Tanque Verde]

For the past few weeks, my snails have been spawning like rabbits. First the ceriths, now I believe the nassarius too. I don't expect any of these eggs to hatch, let alone for the snails to survive, but if nothing else, it's been fun to observe. Here are a few cell-phone pix. Poor as they are, they give some idea of how fascinating the whole experience has been.

I don't think they are spawning....I think they are trying to communicate. Reminds me of crop circles!!

Weird. Recently (a month or so) I’ve noticed the same thing….I wonder if the do this certain times of the year.

Ha! Maybe squiggly lines are cerith for "Moar fooood!"
