I recently purchased eggcrate in Lowes, when I asked two gentlemen that work there
- Where can I find eggcrate?
they looked at me like I am lost or something. And asked me
- What the heck is an eggcrate?
I told them it is a light diffuser that used on flurecent lights. They presistently keep looking at me, like I am from another planet. But one of them decided to guide me somewhere. He showed me soooo many light diffusers, but no eggcrate. Eventually we found it. On a SKU barcode sticker it had written "Eggcrate".
...resistance is futile...

Show me a picture of proper eggcrate I should use...
yeah...keeping 'jumpers' in...haven't had any jumpers yet.....but am going to get my tank into a reef eventually so I don't want to block light from my coral.

If I need to cut it, how would I cut that sh*t??
It was Dana Riddle that did the research. I have just commented on it previously.Originally posted by drummereef
Steven Pro did a whole bunch of research about this not too long ago.

I read in another that it can melt if to close to hot lights so be careful with MH. I have not experienced this personally because I do not have MH lights.

Yes, i would imagine it would/could melt under mh. It got somewhat hot under my pc's which dont even run that hot...so i'd think that if its close to the mh bulb, it'd prolly melt
