eggs?

Just found these in my zoanthid tank.
Anybody have a idea what they are?
Each egg mass is about a 1/16th in dia.

Wow, I'm stumped.

Any idea how long they have been there?

Any chance or waiting it out to find the incubation period?

Where exactly did you find them?

Do you have any inverts in your tank?

I think they are new since yesterday.
Not sure I want to find out how long the incubation period is, if you know what I mean.
They are on the glass down near the bottom of the tank.
At first I thought nasarius snail eggs, but I've had them before and they are alot bigger. In fact a single nassarius snail egg is about the size of each of these egg masses.

They do look very similar.

look like snail eggs to me. What other type of snails do you have?

The only snails in the tank are astrea's

I had a bunch of those on my face when I was sixteen. I use to squeeze them and make them pop on the mirror. I am now 38 and I still get an occasional one, and it is still fun to pop.

JJ I would eradicate them as a caution. good luck

I say get rid of them too, but I would like to know what they are, but it's not my tank, LOL.

They are snail eggs IMHO. I used to get them all the time in my 125g and I never had a problem.

Cerith snail eggs, or astrea type eggs.... I had them lay tons before on my tank..
