Electric leakage impacts on sps

Today I found out my submerge pump was died and there were some electric leakage in my sump where I put the pump. At the se time I found out that many of SPS in the display tank was really pastel color which looks like bleaching. The temp, pH and salinity are stable, so I'm wondering the cause of bleaching is electric leakage from the pump. Is it possible?

Yes very possible, i would say your pumps cable has split exposing tank water to the copper wire, virtually instant bleaching, once you take care of the pump your sps should color back up over time...

Let me check copper level tonight. I changed water about 30% last night, but I might do it again tonight.

Water change mabe... but not essential, I would advise against replacing carbon you have a tank full of already stressed and bleached corals and your going to strip the water making it even clearer, increasing your light intensity and may very well cause further damage. personally I would leave everything alone in this instance. you have found the source and eliminated it, the elevated copper level is not enough to cause tissue loss and any excess will be removed quite quickly....if copper is the issue but I suspect chlorine gas produced by the copper wire and positively charged ions is the culparate more flow and greater surface movement to increase gas exchange will be your best approach...
