I bought a Elegance Coral (Catalaphyllia jardinei) the first week this sucker was opening up and expanding and now all of sudden it's stressed throwing off mucus hermits keep going to it. I moved it to a shady spot under the rock work wall maybe thinking my lighting may be to intense since i'm running my Gen 2's at 75% intensity since i have some SPS in the tank but every other coral is fine but this one. Water flow is good, water test came back came back spot on yet the coral lives but looks like a neon green clam every day any suggestions

Elegance corals are known for a quick death after departure from the LFS. They are brought in from many places but the ones that last are the ones from Australia. Any other elegance coral has a fast shelf life around 5 to 6 months.

How can you tell if it comes from Austrailia?

Thats the thing you can't so the LFS will tell you where that shipment has come from and then you can just figure it out from there!
