hi Elliott, believe it or not i'm still working on getting my tank built a year later! Should be done soon though, had to sue the manufacturer and swap to a new one.
A local reef shop owner was telling me that the penductors caused a lot of pump noise from the backpressure needed to drive them. Do you find the noise different with your penductors over regular large pumps? I'm not sure I'm buying it.

The pumps should not make any more noise under load or back pressure from running penductors, as long as you are using pressure rated pumps, designed to pump against the pressure head from the penductors.
Running penductors has been very reliable consistent flow and maintenance free, hard to beat

I am usually surprised by good growth with any led's actually. Seems like few have actual good results with them long term.
