Elos 120XL REEF

Your tank looks great. Keep up the great work!!!
A baby Bandit would look great, but based on my experience with my Bandit, your corals might suffer. Have you considered adding a Candy Basslet? The Candy would look great with the rest of your fish. :)

Thanks! At the moment I'm doing a big remodel for my system. Im changing out the sump and will redo the aquascaping. I was glueing down a frag and knocked half of my rock over haha.

A candy basslet would be awesome, I've actually never seen one in person. A baby bandit is still on my must have list, I think it's a hit or miss with angels still. I had a few bandits in the past and never bothered anything. I also had a 4" full adult colored emp that took out $500 in acans overnight but that was bound to happen haha but at the same time never touch clams or sps.

So far I was able to re-home some fish do to aggression. I had to remove both of my borbonius anthias cause for some reason the trigger didn't like them. Also lost the lineatus because it jumped and some how got stuck to the netting when I was out of town. Pretty upsetting but I have more room for new fish now.

Incredibly inspiring aqua scape! Love the appeal of the openness the tonga branch gives you...plus the additional retreats for the fish and frag mounting opportunities.

Thanks for the compliment, I loved my aquascape too. To bad I knocked it over and can't get it back to the way it was. I'm in the process of trying something new, I hope it turns out nice.

May I ask who your fish supplier is? :)

My black tang came from Pacific East Aquaculture.

Triggers & interruptus came from two different hobbyist. Shoutout to Josh for one of the triggers and Lawrence for the other trigger and interruptus, still awesome to see the interruptus swim around the tank.

The rest of my fish came from LFS.

Since petco is having their tank sale, I picked up a 40 breeder to replace my old sump. My old sump didn't have any space for a frag area so with the 40 I was able to add that in. So far so good, just waiting for my filter sock holders.

Tomorrow I'll paint the back and the sides of the tank and I'll have the lids done.

Here's a bit of an update...
Started with this frag rack full of corals. This was only half of the corals.

Then moved all frags down to the sump and now my sump is packed.

The interruptus is still healthy and bullying the triggers, haha.

Awesome job on the sump man, you did a great job! Are you selling any frags also what are these? Raptors or Cars maybe?

Thanks, they're actually bowsers but they lost some color when I fragged them and I neglected my tank for the last few weeks. Their lineage is tunabullet on reef 2R. They used to look like this
PM me if your interested in a frag, I have a single polyp frag I can part with.

Update time!

Since I replaced my sump, almost all of my sps have bleached and died with the exception of 4-5 pieces. So to compensate with the loss of my corals, I picked up a Goldflake angel, haha. It was a deal I couldn't pass up.
Here it is in my frag section, no acros.

Here it is in the display next to the interrutpus.

Also, the trigger that I got from Lawrence is now male again. I've always wanted a small xhatch pair for awhile now, pretty happy that i have the opportunity to have them.

Back to the loss of my sps, it basically sucks because some pieces were really nice and took me a lot of time to find. Probably will take a break from the tank for a bit and just let things run. In the meantime, I'll be tracking down some Frenchie breeders. Im sure there are lots of dog lovers here that own Frenchies. I would like to hear about your experiences with the breed and post pictures if you like!

Very nice
I am jealous my 2 males stay female [emoji17]

Haven't updated anything in awhile, everything is still the same haha. I do want to share my recent purchase though. First time seeing these guys in years for me so I had to pick up two.

Tank is looking very good, glad to hear you get enough coverage with two radions on your tank as I have a 36x18 I'm setting up and thought I would need two.

Thanks, I think I would have added another one to my tank but they're so expensive haha. And most of my rocks are in the middle and I don't keep corals on the sand bed so I think two is good just to cover the middle.

Do you run a qt or do you have a trusted supplier your getting all these amazing fish from?

I do have a QT but I don't really use it often. Most of my fish came from other hobbyist or they been QT prior before they get to me. But I do run a 57 watt UV sterilizer at all times.

Gotcha, as you said.. Much better to spend that money on nicer fish. Love the black tang btw

Thanks, I love my black tang. Every tank that I have owned, I always had a black tang in it. Something about a mystic black fish in a colorful tank.
