Very nice. I've been following for awhile so it's good to see an update. The picture of the porcelain crab is amazing; not just the focus, but the composition too.

awesome tank! I'm looking for similar colors in my tank! How do you like the fiji purple light? I'm still debating on adding one to my sunpower. BTW did you ever figure out what happened to your jawfish :hmm2: did he jump out?

Wonderful pics. You are great with a camera, man.

e: or woman? I guess I shouldn't be sexist on the intertubes...

thanks for the compliments guys
i like the color the fiji purple gives

the jawfish was never found must have died and his body eaten by the crabs i guess?!?

Wow I would have to say that is the best rock work I'v ever seen in a smaller tank!! : ) Nice set up to I would imagine.

My goodness, man! I don't know what amazes me more, the tank or the picture taking!!! Wonderfull job on both counts!

This may be like asking a chef for his secret recipe, but which of your lenses did you use for the close-up pics in post # 171?

thanks to everyone for the comments!
the lens used for the macro shots was a tamron 180mm 3.5 macro on a full set of kenko extension tubes on a tripod with a shutter release all pumps off custom white balance and shot in raw

Would really like to see sump/equipment pics :) Always great to see the guts of a great looking system! I am in the planning stage of a 40br as well and am very excited.
