emerald crab vs randalli pistol shrimp

I've got a randalli pistol shrimp (almost 1 inch) in a burrow (shared with a yasha goby) in my 28g. I've also got 2 emerald crabs (largest one is about 1 inch and the other is tiny).

Do you think there's any chance the emerald could get into a burrow that has a randalli pistol shrimp in it?

My guess is that one snap from the pistol and the emerald will either get killed or run for his life out of the burrow.

What does everyone think?
thanks

Interestingly enough I'm experiencing this right now... though I don't have an outcome for you yet. I have a pistol in my 24g aquapod (was paired with a yasha but she's been MIA for a couple months... though she did this before and then reappeared though I see the shrimp daily) anyways I added a emerald yesterday, fairly small. This morning I saw the emerald is sitting in the main burrow enterance for my pistol... will report back as to what happens next.

I'm actually a bit concerned... didn't see the pistol at all today (he always peeks out when I feed the tank) and so far tonight no snapping at all... if the stupid cheap emerald killed my pistol some how I will not be happy... it'll be crab legs for dinner tomorrow, teenie tiny ones!

so, far, so good. I forgot that pistol's close up the burrow at night. So, there's no way for the crab to get in and injure them at night.

We'll see!

I wouldn't worry about the emerald getting the shrimp I would be worried about the emerald getting the yashia. Thats what happened to my purple dartfish.

Update: crab was out and about today, and pistol was peaking out of his favorite opening again... then later crab was back in the spot... apparently it's a time share now LOL

Mitch: I did lose a green banded goby yesterday, he was front and center in the tank but dead... no sign of anything happening to him, looked great, no damage to any part of him, eyes still bright... if it was the crab there would have been some damage right? I have 2 firefish and a little yellow goby so you've got me worried.. I've always had the emeralds in my 70g with similar fish w/o incident.
